JOB DETAILS:
Apion is a building contractor and real estate company in Lusaka
As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and interpreting the building plans. You will also be responsible for positioning the bricks as per desired structural integrity

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Analyzing and interpreting building plans. Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required.
• Measuring distance from one corner to the other in raising structure per plan
• Laying bricks, pre-cut stone and concrete blocks with mortar
• Constructing brickwork by laying bricks using the correct mortar mixture
• Constructing, extending and repairing domestic and commercial buildings and other structures such as foundations, walls or decorative masonry work
• Performing bricklaying/bricklaying-related tasks such as plastering, wall skimming and earth works
• Responsible for all aspects of bricklaying/bricklaying-related projects

QUALIFICATIONS
Trade Test certificate in bricklaying AND plastering OR alternatively
Previous work experience as a bricklayer confirmed by a letter of reference from traceable company
