Who do we need?
We are looking for a tech-savvy and result-oriented Business Manager to lead and supervise various aspects of our Zambian office. You will be in charge of designing and delivering on businesses strategies together with the team and managing day-to-day operations to guarantee company efficiency.
Superb interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for this role, as good teamwork is important for our business success. Suitable candidates should also be excellent written and verbal communicators, and possess the ability to identify opportunities for growth. We need someone with vision and ideas who will tackle any problem as well as the ability to roll up your sleeves up and get involved.

What will you do?
• Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in Zambia.
• Establish the company’s goals and objectives with support from the wider team.
• Designing business strategies and plans to meet the company goals, as well as their implementation.
• Project management of key initiatives.
• Developing a comprehensive company budget and perform periodic budget analyses.
• Assess overall company performance and preparation and presentation of market reports.
• Mitigate operational gaps by creating efficient process and procedures
• Contribute to sales and training strategy, and identify and implement efficiencies in the sales, training and operations processes.
• Ensuring everyone involved receives the information and tools needed for their job
• Make sure that the company has sufficient resources such as personnel, material, and equipment.
• Support in recruiting new employees and perform regular employee evaluations to determine areas of improvement.
• Ensure all company activities adhere to legal guidelines and policies.

Who are you?
• The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field of study from a recognized university.
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
• Outstanding leadership abilities.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and numerical skills with strong business acumen.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• A self-motivated, multi-tasking individual with minimum supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, communication and organization skills with a high demonstrable level of integrity.
• Demonstrable excellent people-management, motivation and team-building skills.
• Excellent written and oral English language skills and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
• Highly proficient in all MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work long hours as and when required in accordance with business requirements.
• Creative and a forward thinker.
• Ability to operate in a performance-driven organization
