Musika is an independent Zambian non-profit company supported by the Swedish Embassy in Lusaka to stimulate and support private sector investment in the smallholder and rural markets. Musika's operations are national in scope and stretch across the agricultural industry, working primarily with those corporate entities in the sector that are committed to engaging the rural poor us their clients, suppliers and consumers. Musika provides its clients with high quality, commercially focused technical advice and business support to catalyse and strengthen mutually beneficial commercial relationships between the corporate and smallholder markets. Musika focuses on supporting the development of commercial relationships in which there is some form of 'value addition to the transaction that give not only the opportunity but also the technical knowledge and confidence to smallholder farmers to invest in and improve their farming businesses.

Assignment Objectives

The objective of this assignment is to provide 24 hours' security services, including Sundays and holidays to secure Musika Development Initiatives Office including all the properties within the building premises and the occupants and general public transacting business thereat.

The specific objectives of the provision of security services shall include, but not limited to the following:

Observance of rigid inspection of personal belongings of clients/visitors at all entrances. Guarantee that all Musika employees and clients are safe from harm which may arise from internal/external chaos and public disorder.

Guard against incidence of theft and other misdemeanors which may constitute breach of peace and order inside Musika premises.

Strictly observe, enforce and adhere to Musika's rules and regulations as it applies to the security and well-being of the company and its employees.

Protect entire work area occupied by Musika, its employees and clients against unauthorized intrusion.

Strictly maintain official logbook or record of all incoming and outgoing persons, vehicles, movements of Musika properties, among others.

During and after office hours, conduct routine patrol or inspection of the premises and report unusual activities or threat to security to the assigned Security Supervisor.

Record all employees rendering overtime services and all other office personnel who are still in the Musika premises after office hours.

Ensure that all doors and windows of Musika buildings are secured and all electrical connections and lights are turned off. Before the start of office hours, inspect all areas for any sign of forced entry.
