Our Client, a reputable Quasi-Government Institution would like to recruit Zambian Executive Directors to spearhead the growth and development of the Company
Chief Information Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of all information service functions including: strategic planning, business support systems, IT infrastructure, IS governance, billing, VAS and MIS

Key Responsibilities
• Directs and manages computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business and finance data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives
• Develops strategic plans and implements the objectives of the information technology needs of the Company to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of the Company's growth and objectives
• Develops contemporary Digital Solutions and Services for the Company
• Spearheads development, implementation and management of business systems processes and procedures in line with Company policies and processes.
• Manages the day to day operation of Billing and VAS systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, quality management are addressed and monitored.
• Manages and enforces security measures on Data and ICT Resources
• Develops reviews and certifies all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
• Ensures that all Business Support systems comply with the quality of standard of the Company
• Makes sure that measures are taken to avoid interruption to service delivery of the business support systems

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 certificate with credits in English and Mathematics and any other three subjects
• Graduate Engineer (Computer Science/Telecommunications) from a reputable University
• Post Graduate Degree (Master of Science in ICT or related field, MBA an added advantage).
• Minimum of 10 years related post qualification experience, 5 of which should be in a Managerial Role in Telecom or related industries
• Member of an ICT Professional Body
