JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
To oversee the formulation and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures in the Group and make strategic choices that enhances the Portfollo’s effectiveness and performance.

The incumbent will oversee the successful delivery of radical and innovative transformation and change regarding the behaviours, structures and operations in the Group, resulting in improved shareholder value. He/she will develop a proactive stakeholder management strategy at different levels including the Boards and CEOs In the Group whilst upholding the Governance structures.

Key Result Areas and Principal Accountabilities (include but are not limited to the following)
Strategic Planning and Implementation
• Develops the organisation’s Portfolio Division in compliance with the Group Strategy and mandate.
• Aligns the Portfolio Strategy to the corporate strategy, vision, mission, and values to optimise Portfolio productivity.
• Provides leadership to the transformation and business restructuring for the Portfolio and ensures that the Portfolio generates and runs innovative continuous improvement business initiatives from various sources in the value chain
• Ensures that the organisation devices portfolio transformation matrix as a tool for strategic positioning of subsidiaries and strategy formulation
• Leads a team of Portfolio Managers and Business Transformation strategists who are tasked to transform a portfolio to become more agile and versatile.
• People Management and Leadership

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
• Full Grade Twelve School Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Commerce, Engineering and/or equivalent
• Professional Qualification I.e. ACCA, CIMA, CA In relevant field from reputable institution.
• Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Commerce, or equivalent Professional Qualification in relevant field from reputable institution.
• Professional Membership to a relevant professional body.
• At least 15 years’ post qualification work experience, 10 years of which should have been at senior management level.
• Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders Including GRZ, Private Sector and Boards.
• Proven track record of driving Business Transformation and turnaround strategies
