JOB DETAILS:
• Family Development Initiatives (FDI) is anticipating the implementation of a huge Gender Based Violence project and is therefore seeking suitable candidates . This position will provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and program oversight, and will serve as the principal point of contact in Zambia for procedural and substantive matters. S/he will manage, coordinate and ultimately be responsible for results under this activity. S/he will provide overall leadership and strategic direction in the management of the project and will be the primary liaison with the potential funder and relevant GRZ ministries on technical matters. S/he will be responsible for responding to the Donor’s Focal Point Contact. The COP must have strong people skills, a sound knowledge of gender issues not only in the country but also at the global level, with a sound ability to articulate the activity goals and objectives. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring quality control and overall responsiveness of technical assistance provided under the project.
