JOB DETAILS:
Position purpose:
The position exists to manage the procurement activities for the relevant category within own Cluster. This role has the following main dimensions:
• Participates in Global/Regional strategy design.
• Implements Global/Regional strategies.
• Ensures sourcing plan defined as per Global strategy guidelines and develops Cluster-specific ones if relevant.
• Identifies initiatives & synergies within Cluster for defined Category.
• Leads Category-specific team.
• Drives Category innovations & market intelligence.
• Is accountable for the Category SRM and drives the optimization of the supplier base.
• Ensures business connectivity and fosters collaborative business partnerships with specific stakeholders.
• Acts as main point of contact to Global Category Managers.
• Participates in financial planning and ensure the team delivers expected benefits/value within their perimeter of action.
• Drives ad-hoc cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identifies and dispatches Procurement initiatives for defined spend category(ies) within own Cluster.
• Role model in compliance and ethics.

Education
• University degree (Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering).
Experience and Functional skills
• At least 5 – 7 years experience in similar role in Procurement / Manufacturing Services / Finance preferably in a multinational company operating in FMCG industry.
• Full understanding of Category Management Strategy, supplier management, business partnership, Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and market intelligence.
• Proven expertise in leading effective negotiations.
• Effective communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
• Strong proven ability to build and maintain sustainable partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven team leadership skills, strategic thinking, financial analysis and business environment knowledge.
• Broad knowledge in business information systems and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools and SAP.

Language
• English (business language) other language is an asset (local language based on location)
