Job Overview
The Cluster Manager will lead the following cluster activities: Sales and marketing, customer support and community engagement at Cluster level with cross-functional activities in business development and related teams at Lusaka-HQ

Key Responsibilities
The Cluster Manager will be responsible for:
• General administration of cluster sites
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders (local and village leaders such as chiefs, councils etc)
• Increase marketing and sales of energy efficient appliances and productive use machines to minigrid customers to meet performance targets and KPIs
• Customer acquisition and retention
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for customer loan portfolio in the cluster including customer credit assessment
• Timely tracking and reporting on all cluster KPIs
• Perform demand/baseline assessment/ surveys and appraisal of pre-feasibility and feasibility study report
• Providing project progress reports on cluster activities
• Planning and coordinating community engagement activities
• Leading training and provide support to the local community in our products and services
• Customer contract management
• Supervise Cluster Local Operators (LO) as linkage between the business and local community
• Managing After-sales services through call center and monitoring of sales performance.
• Encouraging formation and participation in local energy user committees/community to ensure commercial offers are clearly understood and strategize on their improve.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in sales, business development or related field
• Experience working with rural and off-grid business models and segments
• Computer Literate
• Passionate about the sales process
• Valid drivers license
• Language(s):
• English
• Any Zambian language – preferably languages from the Eastern Region
