Overall Job Purpose
• To ensure that full accountability for all items under his / her responsibility and maintain highest standard of housekeeping and safety with Company Safety Rules and Standards.
• To provide excellent service to end users.

Specific Job Responsibility
• Receive, pick, issue and dispatch stock items.
• Ensure the best storage and handling of warehouse goods
• Ensure that all stock movements are recorded and controlled in an accurate manner
• Follow up on all stock issued on manual documentation during machine down.
• Ensure all issue documentation is signed off and accurate records are maintained
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Control and secure inventory, stock process
• Ensure all received items from put away are binned in their respective bin locations
• Control and secure inventory, including warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet stacker and hand trucks)
• Take part in the cycle count / stock take process
• To ensure bin locations for new stock codes are updated in the system
• Any other tasks as may be delegated upon by the supervisor
• Receive and verify stock returns before being returned electronically on pronto
• Hand over the item to the put away team for binning.

• Pre-Pick Process
• Reallocation (Robbing)
• Manual Dispatch
• Pick – Slip Cancellation
• Creation of Pick slip and processing
• Item transfer
• Warehouse replenishment

Job Specific Competencies
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Proficiency in Pronto
• Knowledge of basic health & safety
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Experience required to perform in this job
• Two years of relevant experience in a supply chain related field

Qualifications
• Grade 12 Certificate
• CIPS Level 3 or equivalent
