JOB DETAILS:
The Eastern Provincial Health Office with support from the US Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), is seeking for eligible and qualified applicants for the listed position to be employed on contract basis.
Station: Eastern Provincial Health Office- Chipata District
JOB PURPOSE: To undertake the audit of internal control systems in order to ensure adherence to set standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILTY (MAIN DUTIES)
• Undertakes effectively the audit of financial, procurement, systems and Human Resource processes in order to ascertain adherence to set standards.
• Coordinates effectively the development of the risk register and formulation of internal controls in order to facilitate Risk mitigation interventions.
• Undertakes effectively generation of reports in order to facilitate decision making
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Full Form 5/ Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Three (3) years Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
• Ability to write comprehensive reports
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Computer skills, Interpersonal skills, integrity, confidentiality, analytical skills
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
