Overview/ Job Description
Dot Com Zambia www.dczambia .com is an award winning Zambian SME ICT company that was launched in 2009. The company prides itself as company that is focused on building ICT based solutions for the Zambian and African Market. The company currently has 24 employees primarily in sales, marketing, operations and IT software Development. Dot Com Zambia is seeking a knowledgeable HR Consultant and Development Coach to develop and implement bespoke HR strategies for our organization. The successful candidate will be required to evaluate and identify human capital inefficiencies, recommend solutions, develop HR strategies and models such as appraisal systems, Performance OKRs and/or KPIs, provide advice and implement HR policies and best practices that are represent the culture of the organization. The candidate will also serve as a development coach to the Managing Director and other senior managers within the organization.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures
• Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures
• Ensuring HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and country laws and regulations
• Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects
• Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow
• Presenting training sessions related to specific HR programs
• Development and implementing internal appraisal systems
• Development coaching to the Managing Director and other senior managers

Qualifications and experience:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any relevant field.
• Minimum of Five (5) Years relevant Experience
• Must be a Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
• Demonstrated experience working as a consultant a plus.
Working Hours/ Conditions
Position is on a consultancy basis with the agreed amount paid as a monthly retainer over the agreed assignment period- for example a 6 month duration- even if the bulk of the assignment is completed in the first 2 to 3 months. The consultant will assess how much time they need to spend in our offices
