JOB DETAILS:
• Our client, KWV, a leading spirits and wine producer, is currently in search of a Country Manager with a deep understanding of FMCG market within Zambia or the African market. To be considered for this role you must have an analytical background, with the ability to drill deeply into numbers and identify ways to increase sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
• Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute commercial strategies that leverage your strong financial acumen and route-to-market expertise.
• Market Insights: Utilize your deep knowledge of the Zambian market to identify opportunities and challenges and guide strategic decision-making.
• Distributor Management: Lead our efforts in managing distributors, ensuring effective collaboration, and driving mutual success.
• Customer Development: Nurture key accounts, fostering strong relationships that drive growth and customer satisfaction.
• Project Leadership: Take charge of strategic projects that will contribute to our expansion and market dominance.
• Brand Ambassador: Represent KWV as the face of the company, interacting with partners, stakeholders, and customers.
• Supplier Engagement: Manage third-party suppliers, negotiate new listings, and drive excellence in customer management.
• Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with internal departments such as Marketing and Operations to ensure seamless execution of strategies.

Minimum Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 7 years’ experience in a similar role / sales management/ managing distributors and 3rd party trade marketing service providers,
• Experience within the Zambian market in the alcoholic beverages and/or FMCG categories
• Skills Required:

• Strong financial and commercial acumen
• Expertise in route-to-market strategies
• Exceptional customer development skills
• Ability to manage third-party suppliers effectively.
• Proven experience in leading strategic projects
• Collaborative and effective communication
• Salary is dependent on experience.
