JOB DETAILS:
Afrox Zambia Limited is the leading Gases and Welding solutions providing company in Zambia. It is a member of the Linde Group Plc.
The company wishes to fill the vacant position of:
Cylinder and Bulk Gas Inventory Management Controller

Job Purpose:
To be based in Ndola and reporting to the Supply Chain and Warehouse Supervisor, the incumbent shall be responsible for controlling the cylinder and bulk gases inventories effectively and efficiently in such a way that stock losses are eliminated, inventory levels are optimized and a quality service is rendered to the customers.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Analyzing and ensuring stock availability
• Conducting physical stock counts.
• Processing, dispatching and Loading Sheets.
• Capturing trip results.
• Controlling cylinder assets.
• Maintaining yard disciplines (where applicable):
• Reconciling Production Declaration;
• Processing and reconciling bulk gas stock records
• Ensuring adherence to SHEQ processes
• Supporting growth initiatives.
• Processing documentation accurately and timeously
• Maintaining documentation flow and filing
• Actioning management reports:

Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in a commercial/business field such as Accounting
• Purchasing and Supply or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the relevant field
• Computer skills, with ACCPAC; Data capturing and Inventory administration skills will be an added advantage.
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
• Must be a member of a relevant professional body.
