Job Summary
Accountable for the development and implementation of the Bank’s digital and change vision.
Work closely with senior management and business units in the design of digital transformation projects. This includes leveraging technology and data to transform business processes and developing new applications. The role also requires working across teams in order to understand different business objectives and ultimately identify opportunities for digital transformation.
Improving the end user experience of the transformation journey by mobilizing and managing change management aspects to reduce risk exposure and disruption proactively related to the Book of Works initiatives

Key Accountabilities
Accountability: Digital Transformation and Change Management
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
• Support digital transformation system planning, testing, deployment, implementation and change management.
• Apply a change management process to support customer acceptance and adoption.
• Provide input document requirements and support the design and delivery of system training programs.
• Evaluate and ensure user adoption and readiness.
• Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
• Manage the change management plan including tasks such as producing deliverables in line with the project timeline, conducting change impact assessments at the process and sub-process level and ensuring project plan includes change-related dependencies.
• Support integration of change management activities into project management plans and activities.
• Foster and demonstrate a workplace inclusive of creating opportunity, building trust, innovation and exceeding expectations.
Accountability: Speed of execution and projects aligned to strategic intent
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
• Contribute to the development of new and relevant digital change frameworks, guidelines and toolkits.
• Contribute to building and empowering digital transformation network.
• Deliver country digital initiatives in collaboration with Business Heads and Marketing and Communications inline with overall Group transformation agenda.
• Ensuring all affected stakeholders, leaders and sponsors remain aligned
Accountability: Drive and Business Direction
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
• Provide input into the design and roll-out of initiatives to ensure these are shaped in line with customer and colleague insights to ensure high rates of adoption
• Create awareness, understanding, buy-in and support of initiatives and build a feedback mechanism at strategic touch points to facilitate open discussion for improvement opportunities
• Partner with Business Unit Heads to build, manage and translate business priorities into implementable actions to achieve customer and colleague satisfaction
• Act as an engagement interface between the Business and project/enablement teams, ensuring that any dependencies are identified and managed
• Support the development of insight into key process and /or people issues which are likely to impact effective roll-out and embedment of initiatives. Provide the oversight to ensure these issues addressed
• Lead with passion and determination the resolution of entrenched business issues that may act as obstacles in the delivery of initiatives
• Proactively identifying synergies across teams and within initiatives to ensure we leverage all opportunities for quick and efficient delivery of initiatives
• Develop innovative and creative solutions to long standing issues that may hinder embedment of initiatives in-country
Accountability: Be an effective leader
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
• Drive senior management thinking, debate and influence, to drive and manage transformational change
• Proactively build and maintain relationship with key stakeholders across the business, looking for opportunities to leverage and build global / cross cluster solutions
• Deliver high quality briefings and analysis for senior stakeholders
• Act as an ambassador and role model in terms of both delivery and behavior

Role / Person Specification
Education and Experience Required:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/ Computer Sciences)
• Master’s degree in relevant field (Project Management)
• knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

Experience
• 5 years Change Management on large scale transformational projects
• 5 years Change Management on large scale IT projects pertaining to:
• Systems implementations/migrations pertaining to digital, automation, payments,
• Infrastructure related programmes

Knowledge & Skills: (Maximum of 6)
• Extensive MS Office/ Language Skills
• Proven track record of developing and delivering strategic initiatives
• Ability to influence stakeholders at a senior executive level including communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Proven track record in driving process improvements
• Ability to manage a program of activity to budget, time and quality.
• Proven track record of change management and ability to influence the culture of a business.
• Ability to work under pressure, with self discipline and motivation and leading a team experiencing these demands.
• Experience in analysis, data gathering, data collation and data interpretation.
• Experienced in team management with strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Understanding of Project Management principle, phases and application thereof
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
