Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) and Dan Church Aid (DCA) have been operating in Zambia for over 20 years and became a Joint Country Programme (JCP) in 2011. NCA and DCA are organizations dedicated to global justice, working to assist the poorest and those in need regardless of creed, race, political, or religious affiliation. NCA provides emergency assistance during disasters, engages in long-term community development, and addresses the root causes of poverty. NCA also advocates for just decisions by public authorities, businesses, and religious leaders.

NCA and DCA are collaborating with the government of the Republic of Zambia to address the effects of drought in 4 Districts of Southern Province (Monze, Gwembe, Kazungula and Zimba). The programme supports the most affected communities and households by improving access to WASH services and irrigation to aid in early recovery.
