JOB DETAILS:
Job Overview:
As a Finance and Reconciliation Coordinator at Primenet solutions limited, you will play a key role in helping managing and overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reconciliation of transactions across various financial platforms. Working closely with our finance and operations teams, you will handle complex reconciliations, financial reporting, and process improvements to ensure the company’s financial data is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Reconciliation Management:
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, payment gateways, and internal financial systems.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances in reconciliations and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure accurate matching of all financial transactions, including payments, deposits, transfers, and fees.
2. Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain financial reports related to reconciliations and other financial metrics.
• Provide timely reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
3. Transaction Monitoring:
• Track and monitor all incoming and outgoing payments, including refunds, chargebacks, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with payment partners and service providers to resolve any financial transaction issues.
• Maintain and update documentation for all reconciliations and payment processes.
4. Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reconciliation processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with the technology team to improve financial systems and integration with various payment platforms.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial data.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with the finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial records.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other third parties during audits or reviews.
• Assist in responding to finance-related queries from other departments within the company.
6. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
• Ensure all reconciliation and financial processes comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards, financial regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. ACCA level 2 or ZICA licentiate.
ZICA Membership is a Must
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in financial reconciliation, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, payments, and reconciliation systems.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with payment gateways, digital wallets, and bank reconciliation tools is a plus.
• Ability to work with large datasets and complex financial systems.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and time management.
