JOB DETAILS:

SolidarMed is an International NGO, headquartered in Switzerland and working in Zambia to improve the overall health of the Zambian people by contributing to the training and retention of health workers (HR4H), particularly in rural areas of Zambia.
To achieve higher attraction and retention rates of medical staff, SolidarMed works to improve living conditions through the construction and rehabilitation of staff houses in rural areas. SolidarMed created a social enterprise, called SolidarInvest, to oversee these houses, currently totalling 50, under management. SolidarInvest generates revenue by renting out the houses to staff of the Ministry of Health. As a not-for-profit, all revenue is reinvested into either maintenance, new housing or rehabilitation, and/or investment into health facility equipment or infrastructure. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on provisional and annual income tax returns for SolidarInvest Ltd.
• Troubleshoot use of the ZRA e-portal in filing returns, processing payments and applying or following up waivers.
• Support liaison and compliance with all statutory bodies, ZRA and NAPSA if required.
• On-call for any financial queries related to organizational accounting needs.
• Attend meetings, when needed, as financial advisor.
• Adhere to and support the implementation of the SolidarMed Child Protection Guidelines and the SolidarMed Code of Conduct.

Job Qualifications:
• At least 3 years experience as an accountant or auditor.
• Experience of working in or with an International NGO.
• Highest degree of personal independence, integrity and honesty
• Knowledge of ZRA rules and regulations.
• Experience with non-profit boards is an advantage.
• Excellent English language skills and ability to produce high quality written materials.

• Completed ACCA Professional or full CIMA.
• Full ZICA
