• The Company Seeks the Services of a First Aid Training Officer x1

Job Purpose
Conduct First Aid training as per statutory requirement contained in Mining Regulations MR1201 to MR1210. As well as performing other First Aid related duties.
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
1. Organize First Aid classes and conduct Lectures at all levels of First Aid training.
2. Identifying employees for First Aid training as required by the Mining Regulations.
3. Preparing and training employees at Inter Departmental and Inter Company First Aid competitions.
4. Ensure First Aid Certificates are legally compliant and are always up to required standards.
5. Uphold the safety of all First Aid Students.
6. Follow up on performance of First Aid canister keepers appointed to maintain First Aid equipment in various sections as required by MR1205 (4), 1207 (1) (2).
7. Perform other First Aid related duties as may be required from time to time.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
1. Grade 12 certificate
2. Minimum of a Silver Medal certificate in First Aid
3. Instructors Certificate in Mining First Aid (added advantage)
4. Certificate in Teaching Methodology or above (added advantage)
5. Minimum three (03) years as a first Aider
6. Computer literacy
