Job Summary
The Primary responsibility of the job is to deliver excellent operational performance through undertaking the processing of Fixed Deposits.
Job Description
• Execute the processing of Fixed Deposits
• Ensure all instructions are recorded in the register before processing
• Ensure maker checker process is adhered to when processing FDR instructions
• Ensure adherence to 24 hours SLA in processing of all FDR instructions
• Ensure FDR instructions are authentic before processing
• Keep an up-to-date filling record for all FDR instructions and reports
• Attend and resolve all FDR queries and complaints
• Escalate all FDR queries and complaints to supervisor/line manager as per complaint handling procedure
• Ensure that FDRs are running with correct interest rates
• Ensure there are not delays in processing matured FDRs
• Adherence to leave plan
• Daily, weekly, and monthly submission of MI s respectively
• ACM-you will be required to perform any other work assigned to you in line with AOM, plus any other duties that may be provided by line manager from time to time
• Ensure you read and understand and adhere to health and safety circulations and other compliance circulars.
• Ensure adherence to Record management policy( clean desk police)
• LMS-ensure attestation to LMS training
• Work closely with supervisors and team members as one team to deliver excellent performance
• Actively participate in team events and morning hurdles
• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Absa Operational Risk Framework and internal Absa Policies and Standards.
Education
Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
