Chitambo Town Council now invites eligible and qualified bidders registered with Engineering institute of Zambia (EIZ), National council for construction (NCC) in grade 6 or better to participate in the Tender for the proposed works.

Note: The council shall use Electronic Government Procurement system for this tendering process.

Interested bidder may obtain further information from 08:30hrs to 16:00hrs during working days from the procurement section at chitambo town council.

A non-refundable fee of K1, 000.00 for the bid document shall be paid through the the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) account;

Bidder who are able to bid for more than one project will be required to submit their bid separately for each project. However, no bidder shall be awarded more than one lot.

A mandatory site visit shall be conducted on 11th May, 2023. All bidders to meet at chitambo town council, civic Centre at 08:30hrs. Project is situated approximately 10km from the civic centre along Nakonde road and 5km off Nakonde road.

Submission Procedure

NB. All bidders are required to provide their own mode of transportation, preferably 4 x 4 vehicles.

The closing date for the receipt of bids is 04 June, 2023 at 14:00hrs local time.

The submissions and opening of bids will be through the e-GP as mandated by Public procurement Act No. 8 of 2020.

This tender is limited to citizen bidders only as provided for under the public procurement Act No. 08 of 2020 section 39(2).
