Invitation to Tender at Sikongo Town Council
Sikongo Town Council of Westem Province has set aside funds for Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the year 2022 budget. The Sikongo Town Council Procurement Committee on behalf of the Counci wishes to invite eligible Companies, firms and individuals duly registered with NCC in category B grade 5&6 to bid for works of the CONSTRUCTION OF A STORAGE AGRICULTURAL SHED IN SIKONGO DISTRICT OF WESTERN PROVINCE. The terms for bidding are as prescribed under Open National Bidding (ONB) and is restricted to citizen bidders only as provided for in section no. 39 (2) and (3) of the public procurement act No. 8 of 2020

Scope of works
CONSTRUCTION OF STORAGE AGRICULTURAL SHED IN SIKONGO DISTRICT OF WESTERN PROVINCE.
A complete set of the bidding documents may be purchased from the Accounts office at the Civic Centre in Sikongo, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K500.00 in cash or Bank certified cheque or any freely convertible currency.
Bids shall be vaid for a period of 4 weeks from Monday, 13th February, 2023 and must be delivered to the address provided below on or before. Thursday 9 March, 2023 at 1400 hours local time

Submission Procedure
Bidders are encouraged to gather at the Civic Centre before undertaking a site visit which will be held on Tuesday, 21 February, 2023 at 10:00 hours
Sealed bids clearly marked " CONSTRUCTION OF A STORAGE AGRICULTURAL SHED IN SIKONGO DISTRICT OF WESTERN PROVINCE" must be deposited in the Tender Box at the Civic Centre and must be sent not later than Thursday, 9th March, 2023 at 14:00 hours local time.
Bidders are required to submit a complete set of one (01) original and three (03) copies of the bid clearly marked, sealed and labelled.
The closing date for receipt of bids is 9th March, 2023 at 14:00 hour's local time and bids received after the time and date stated above WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The bids will be opened soon after tender closing at the Civic Centre in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
