Key Responsibilities of Junior Sous Chef: • Provides the highest food quality consistent with cost control and profitability margins to maximise guest satisfaction and food profitability
• Ensures that proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are followed
• Utilises leadership skills and motivation to maximise team member productivity and satisfaction
• Develops and recommends appropriate training and development to meet Hotel and departmental needs
• People developer/exporter
Requirements of Junior Sous Chef: • Diploma in Food Production
• 3- 5 years experience at Junior Sous Level
• Experience in Pastry a MUST
• A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member supervision
• Commercially aware
• Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed service standards
• Clear thinker with excellent communication and creative abilities

Chef de Partie

Responsibilities of Chef de Partie:
• Prepares and properly garnishes food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation
• Supervises and supports team members in own section to achieve optimum quality
• Follows proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices at all times
• Ensures close down of section in accordance with departmental procedures and standards
Requirements of Chef de Partie: • Minimum – Diploma in Food Production
• 3- 5 Years Experience in a Busy Hotel
• Experience in an International Brand will be an added advantage
• A proven track record in a similar role within a quality environment and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member supervision
• A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care.

• Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner
• Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved
• Collaborates with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.
• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required
Requirements of the Sales Executive: • Diploma in Sales & Marketing
• 5-8 Years Experience in Sales & Marketing
• Experience in Hotel sales is essential
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
• Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
• Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
• Strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities of Steward: • Maintains supply of clean dishes, glassware, silverware, pots etc for the Kitchen and all outlets in the Hotel
• Maintains a clean kitchen environment
• Completes work projects as assigned by Senior Manager
Requirements of Steward: • Full Grade 12 Certificate
• 2-4 Year Experience as a Steward, preferably in a busy 5 Star Kitchen
• A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care
• Attention to detail
