JOB DETAILS:
Overview
Our client a privately owned SX plant Solwezi , NW Province of Zambia is looking for a Laboratory Manager. The processing facility consists of a crushing circuit, leaching pads, mixing house and SX plant. The Lab Manager will be required to;
• Manage the day to day laboratory work as well as oversee and assist the Lab team (3 x Assistants)
• Execute accurate samples from production (SX & EW) together with the Chief Metallurgist to ensure the plant runs at optimum at all times
• Sample raw materials being delivered
• Ensure highest level of quality control, both on sampling as well as end product
The ideal candidate must have
• Energy, eager and capable of learning new things and teaching others
• Take proactive approach, think ahead for yourself and your team
• Attention to detail
• At least 5-10 years experience preferably in a smaller mine
• Chemical or Metallurgical degree
• Resident of Zambia
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: Professional Certificate
