JOB DETAILS:
We are currently looking for Laravel Developers to join our Lusaka-based team on a part-time basis with the possibility to grow into a full-time job.
We are in the process of incorporating a second version (V2.0) of an LMS (Learning Management System) which these positions are intended for.

The Software:
The LMS version 1.0, is already in use by schools worldwide and by independent providers of online courses. The LMS version 1.0 will be further developed and fine-tuned for version 2.0 which will include branding options as well as multiple languages. Continued development will be ongoing for the next years to come.
If you are well familiar with Laravel, you have extensive PHP experience, you enjoy working with a great team and you have the freedom to work remotely when needed, then this is a great opportunity for you.

Skills/Experience required:
• Relevant education in the field.
• Significant experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Good knowledge of database architecture and management. Including knowledge of SQL databases.
• Proven development experience in PHP, with experience using Laravel Framework.
• Good understanding of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
• Experience in the integration of third-party APIs is good to have as well as experience in the development of internal API’s.
• Strong work ethic and punctuality, respect for deadlines and deliveries.
