JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that operations are carried out as spelt out by Asharami quality manual, operating procedure and other recognized international standards such as jig manuals & IATA checklist
• Monitoring of documentation and the implementation of company and safety regulations by third party carriers and agents.
• To ensure timely supplies from all loading locations outside and within Zambia to all supply locations.
• Project supply demand balance and estimates.
• Monitor and Co-ordinate with supply locations
• Co-ordinate with S&D of all the regions
• Monitor inventory of all the supply locations and co-ordinate retail sales
• Monitor truck performance and control supply chain cost
• Monitor and improve fleet requirements and process transport bills for payment.
• Manage and maintain relationships with Regulatory Agencies
• Ensure strict compliance to laid down policies as it affects supply and distribution operations
• Endorse transporter copies and ensure that quantities delivered are accurately captured.
• Manage the depots logistics Representatives
• Timely and concise stock reconciliation and reporting
• Work closely with QC &HSE officers to ensure hitch-free operations.
• Work effectively with transporters and drivers to ensure smooth operations
• Respond expediently to Transporters complaints and enquiries

Minimum Requirement/ Experience
• University degree in a Science or Engineering cost
• Minimum of 3 years’ cognate working experience (post NYSC) in a Depot Operations/ Logistics for a downstream company
