JOB DETAILS:
Position: maintenance planner (1 position) – engineering department

Key performance areas
• Manage daily work plaining and scheduling for planned and preventive maintenance.
• Forecast areas of prevention for facilities to standards.
• Analyze maintenance repairs and failures to standards.
• Keep records on estate facilities with technical manuals, risk audit and statutory items.
• As system administrator on Maximo software and database, maintain data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
• Coordinate sectional planning meetings.
• Report on daily feedback activities on maintenance and project performance
• Provide advice and support of maintenance and project performance.
• Provide inspection checklists for work executed and quality checks for completed works.
• Sign off and administer the contractors works and evaluations.

Knowledge and skills required
• Maintain all Country and Group SHERQ standards in the execution of maintenance Planning activities.
• Keep current with industry standards and best practices, thus providing current and effective recognized solutions.
• Promote and adhere to Illovo s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitations and those relating to SHEQ, Completion Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).Analytical ability; attention to detail.

Minimum requirements
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Zambian with Green National Registration Card
• Member of Zambia Institute of Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role with a proven track record.
• Good Verbal Written Communication Skills

Level of Education: Associate Degree
