JOB DETAILS:
Company is a Commercial Water Utility providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers in Kitwe, Kalulushi, Chambishi and Lufwanyama. In its quest to improve service delivery, the Company seeks to employ suitable, highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following vacancies:

Job Purpose
To manage the procurement of works, goods and services for the Company in order to meet end-user requirements and realize value for money.

Job Accountabilities
• Manages timely the preparation of the procurement plan in order to provide guidance in the acquisition of goods, services and works and comply with statutory requirements.
• Effectively manage the preparation of bidding documents in order to enhance transparency and accountability in tendering process and to facilitate çompliance with laid down procedures.
• Manages timely procurement of goods, services and works in order to meet end user requirements and realize value for money.
• Effectively manage the preparation and monitoring the implementation of Procurement Contracts in order to ensure compliance to contractual obligations and facilitate decision.
• Effectively manage ihe vendor rating in order to assess the performance of suppliers and service providers and recommend appropriate action.
• Effectively undertake the provision of secretariat services to the Procurement Committee in order to facilitate smooth conduct of business.
• Manages timely the preparation of Procurement reports in order to meet statutory requirements and facilitate decision making.
• Effectively manage the stores function in timely issuance.
• Manages timely implementation of performance management system in order to monitor and evaluate performance and ensure attainment of sectional objectives.
• Effectively manage human, financial and other resources in order to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources

Qualifications and Experience
• Full Form V /Grade 12 School Certificate;
• CIPS Level 6 or equivalent; and
• A member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS)
• 8 years with 2 years at management level

Skills, Knowledge and Other Attributes
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to cope with high levels of responsibility and with confidential matters and of high integrity;
• Must be assertive, high ethical standards, respectful and collaborative;
