JOB DETAILS:
Anda Solutions now seeks to recruit a Mechanic to join the budding company. The successful applicant will provide technical leadership in all Autoworks. This is a permanent position subject to a probationary period of 3 months.

Reporting Lines
The Mechanic will report directly to the Managing Director

Specific tasks and responsibilities
• Inspecting all vehicles at the beginning and end of the day to ensure they are in good condition
• Report all malfunction, potential malfunction, or body damage and propose solutions in a timely manner
• Repair all mechanical problems that may arise on any vehicle in the fleet
• Routinely service all vehicles appropriately
• Ensure company mobility
• Have the ability to drive long distances
• Adhere to all regulations
• He/She will carry out any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor

Minimum Requirements
• Commitment and passion for company growth above all else
• G12 Certificate
• Certificate in auto mechanics or related field
• Experience in repairing and servicing both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Ability to drive a manual transmission car is a must
• Trustworthy with traceable contacts and a fixed abode
• Available to start immediately
• Resident of Lusaka
• Computer proficient with the ability to work with word processing, data management, and spreadsheets (this will be tested during interviews)
• Must have high typing skills with the ability to navigate the internet quickly
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Fluent in at least one Zambian local language
• A resident of Lusaka
• Traceable Referees – all Referees will be contacted
• Valid Zambian National Registration Card
• Honesty in all dealings and must have no criminal record (Background checks will be done)
• Ability and willingness to abide by all Company policies
