JOB DETAILS:
Ndole Bay Lodge is an adventure safari lodge located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika in Northern Zambia. We offer a variety of accommodation options ranging from luxury beachfront chalets to budget non-ensuite rooms and a beach campsite. Our lodge provides a safe swimming environment in the lake, allowing guests to snorkel right off their doorstep. We offer a wide range of activities including sunset drinks cruises, fishing trips, scuba diving, snorkeling, walks in the national park, kayaking, watersports, and more.

1. LODGE MANAGER POSITION
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Lodge Manager located in Northern Province, Zambia. The Lodge Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lodge, on-site maintenance of lodge, boats, and vehicles. managing staff and rosters, ensuring excellent customer service, handling budgeting and some financial duties.

Qualifications:
– Previous experience in the lodge industry – minimum 2 years
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong customer service orientation
– Driving licence and own car
– Basic maintenance skills – plumbing, electrics, vehicles and boats
– Strong swimming skills with the ability to teach snorkeling (do not apply if you do not have this)
– Computer skills – work and excel for stock management
– Experience in budgeting and financial management
– Ability to provide training and guidance to staff
– Knowledge of food and beverage operations
– Ability to prioritize and multitask
– Strong organizational and leadership skills
– SCUBA diving and Guiding experience is an advantage
– Coxswains license
– Ability to live in a remote bush setting for long periods
– Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)

2. TEACHER/ EDUCATOR POSITION
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Childhood Educator located in Northern Province, Zambia. The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to early childhood development, working with children, implementing creative activities, and ensuring proper organization in the educational setting.

Qualifications:
– Minimum Bachelors degree
– Driver licence and own car
– Interpersonal Skills, including effective communication and collaboration
– Early Childhood Development knowledge and practical experience
– Creativity Skills to design engaging educational activities for children
– Experience Working With Children in an educational or childcare setting
– Organization Skills to maintain a structured and efficient learning environment
– Ability to adapt teaching methods and techniques to meet individual needs
– Positive attitude and ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations
– Ability to live in bush setting independently and enjoy remote area living for long periods of time (do not apply without this ability)
