Are you passionate about youth development and looking to make a meaningful impact? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our field teams operating under the supervision of the National Manager.
Role Overview: The National Coordinator will play a crucial role in our national field team, focusing on the implementation and administration of key programs and organizational support activities. This role includes overseeing and supporting various field operations, ensuring they are delivered according to gold-youth’s high standards.
Main purpose:
• Conduct administration for gold-youth’s national field service delivery and reporting.
• Support the National Manager, ensuring that field team implementation is delivered and administrated according to gold standards for programme and organizational support.
• Fulfil the role of country spokesperson with funders and stakeholders in the absence of the National Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Hold day-to-day administration and support related to national activities.
• With focus on, but not limited to, the following gold functions at the national field level:
• Quality Assurance
• Impact Management
• People and Culture
• Finance Management
• Data Coordination: Ensure effective collection, management & sharing of qualitative & quantitative data.
• Financial Coordination: Ensure sound financial practices and processes are adhered to, cultivating a culture of stewardship, correctness, and promptness of deliverables.
• People Coordination: Ensure effective people and culture data management, supporting adherence to policies and processes and performance management, and strengthening the depth of gold DNA in the field team culture.
• Support and administer field operations, ensuring they align with our core vision, mission, and values.
• Collaborate with the National Manager to implement and manage field services, including quality assurance, impact management, and people coordination.
• Serve as the organization’s representative in the absence of the National Manager, engaging with funders and stakeholders.
• Oversee financial coordination and data management to ensure accuracy and adherence to organizational standards.

What We’re Looking For: We are looking for an outstanding individual who can lead, support, and inspire a dedicated field team. The ideal candidate will have experience in youth development, strong administrative skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Qualification & Experience Required:
• Relevant degree in teaching, psychology, social work, development practice or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable of up-to-date donor and funding trends, both private and public.
• Proven experience with engaging civil society organisations and churches across denominations.
• Proven hands-on experience in managing community development programmes with specific experience in youth peer education and youth development.
• Experience with managing and executing operational budgets.
• At least two years’ experience in youth peer education programme management including management of related programme stakeholders or relevant community experience.
• A valid Driver’s License.
