JOB DETAILS:

National Public Health Coordinator performs administrative and Supervisory duties for contracted and operated health programs and services, including but not limited to staff Supervision. Work with the Government in particular Ministry of Health and other Partners, Program development and implementation, program monitoring and evaluation, coordination of services,

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strong knowledge of and ability to support the measurement, assessment, and articulation of the impact of community health strategies.
• Support SVN in the coordination, planning, and facilitation of health sessions and curricula for the community.
• Oversee and complete all program evaluations, data collection, data entry and timely reporting.
• Ensure grant compliance, including maintaining communication and meeting funder requests.
• Supervise and coordinate schedules for SVN, volunteers, and interns.
• Support in the development of health-related grant proposals and reports.
• Attend and participate in required educational programs and staff meetings.
• Serve as community liaison and maintain relationships with key individuals in the community.
• Collaborate with community health and social service providers and partner agencies to identify barriers and service gaps with the goal of moving towards a community wide collective impact model.
• Maintain current knowledge of general health and wellness information, insurance coverage, and available services and resources.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public or, Community Health, or other related field from an accredited college or university.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
• A Master’s degree (minimum) in Public Health, Public or, Community Health or other relevant field.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience, with at least two years in a senior role in the international development sector.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, networking and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and relationship building skills.
• Current knowledge of development issues, strategies, as well as Programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation.
• Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas, as Well as to impart knowledge and teach skills.
• Demonstrated engagement with diverse donors and development partners;
• An effective and energetic team player, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
• Strong self-motivation and innovative skills, with capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of grant management, monitoring and evaluation practices, Understanding of development policy research and issues related to inclusive growth and sustainable development in the developing regions. Familiarity with web publishing and interactive social media, Working knowledge of Chines/French will be an advantage.
