JOB DETAILS:
Kasempa Radio located in North- Western province of Zambia is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Zambian to fill the vacant position of News Editor.
Qualifications
Diploma in Journalism
At least 2 years experience in radio industry
Key responsibilities and duties include
1. Head the newsroom and supervise all News reporters
2. Conduct news room diaries
3. Assign reporters to gather news stories from the field
4. Decide the stories that are news worthy
5. Edit news
6. Able to cast news bulletins
7. Anchor radio programs
8. Must ensure that programming adhere to journalism ethics and editorial guidelines
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
