JOB DETAILS:
Core Description
Responsible for writing backend codes of any website and how these will communicate when the users trigger any particular action. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for the whole wireframe of the website, its architecture, coding, scripting, and database accessibility.

Key Deliverables
• Actively participate in the entire application lifecycle
• Coordinate with front end developers
• Define and communicate technical and design requirements.
• Build high-quality reusable, clean and maintainable code.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and system administrators
• Handle cutting edge technologies to improve applications.
• Conduct user interface tests and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Develop sustainable web applications with clean codes.
• Integrate data sources and databases into a single system.
• Conduct user authentication and authorization between multiple systems and servers
• Remain up to date with current best practices and the latest technologies.
• Provide training and support to other team members and participate in conferences and other educational programmes.

Minimum Qualifications
• Grade 12
• NQF 6 – Computer Science

Experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ development experience. The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector.
• A minimum of 5 years’ development experience. The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector.
