JOB DETAILS:

Duties And Responsibilities
• Measure clients’ bridge and eye size, temple length, vertex distance, pupillary distance and optical centers of eyes, using measuring devices.
• Fitting the prescribed lenses to the selected frames.
• Verifying that finished lenses are ground to specifications.
• Preparing work orders and instructions for grinding lenses and fabricating eyeglasses.
• Assisting clients in selecting frames according to style and color, and ensure that frames are coordinated with facial and eye measurements and optical prescriptions.
• Maintaining records of customer prescriptions, work orders, and payments.
• Performing administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, and performing simple bookkeeping.
• Ensuring that monthly optical sales targets are achieved.
• Any other duties as required.

Qualifications
• Diploma Or Better In Opticianry.
• Valid Practicing License.
• Work Experience Will Be An Added Advantage.
