Job Overview:
Our company is looking for a focused, Outgrower Clerk who will provides assistance to outgrower inventory or checking out items and reporting activities for field coordinators. His/her duties will include monitoring inputs and issuing stock as per company procudure.
Reporting to: Assistant Out-grower Manager
Responsibilities and Duties
• Assist with bookkeeping of all aspects of day-to-day operations of Amatheon Outgrower Zambia accounting department and send daily report to the accountant.
• Maintain farmer’s contracts and keep excel files of all contracts per each season.
• Record, monitor and follow up and capture in excel, all inputs issued to Field officers eg seed, chemicals and fertilizers.
• Reconcile inputs issued with delivery notes to farmers and keep updated excel file.
• Communicate any stock variations to the Outgrower Accountant.
• Responsible for ensuring that all recorded farm inputs and sales to the farmers are timely captured in excel.
• Stock reconciliation with field officer and warehouse representative.
• Participate in measuring moisture, weighing and quality check on all grain/produce from farmers.
• Prepare farmers payment schedule for approval based on qualified stock received.
• Prepare all payments receipts for all payments.
• Ensure all farmers input loan recoveries are properly deducted and processed accordingly.
• Tracking and keeping record of all fixed assets for Amatheon Outgrower Zambia.
• Participate in stock counts and report any noted concerns to the accountant.
• Timely file all Outgrower accounts documents.
• Reconcile farmers data in the small holder application and the accounts data and report any variances
• Any other duties delegated by management.
• And any other duties as management.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Certificate in business administration or any business discipline
• Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and integrity.
• A good level of computer literacy
