JOB DETAILS:
Plumbers
Purpose of position
To install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures. Ensure that all assigned tasks (jobs) are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
• Inspect humidification/water pumps, cooling pads, wire mesh, facco ventilators, and ensure installation (of plumbing), maintenance, service, repair tasks and emergency tasks are completed in a satisfactory manner. Perform tests to ensure all planned tasks have met reliability standards.
• Check water levels at water tanks around the farm.
• Fix water leaks and repair catchments
• Unblock and empty soak-aways
• Empty septic tanks and maintain sewerage systems
• Fit and assemble pumps

Key Expectations
• Be in compliance with Occupation, Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Quick responsive and alert to any faults that may happen.
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
• Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements

Qualification & Experience
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Craft Certificate in Plumbing & Sheet Metal
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia
