JOB DETAILS:
Overview
Key responsibilities will include
• Ensuring that timely Operations and Maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment is carried out to minimize plant down time.
• Supervision of the Operator by ensuring implementation of the operations and maintenance agreement between us (the owner) and the operator.
• Prepare budget for critical spares and various equipment for the Power Station as well as for the Technical Department.
• Ensure compliance to safety standards, statutory regulations, and procedures.
• Preparations of technical reports and other appropriate reports.
• Coordinate all SHEQ activities including preparations of procedures
• Carrying out designs, modifications, installations, and commissioning of equipment at the Power Station in conjunction with the operator
• Ensuring quality workmanship and clean working environment.
• Ensure implementation of Annual Maintenance by the Operator
• Preparations of technical specifications.
• Perform any other duties lawfully assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum qualifications and experience
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or equivalent
• Registered member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Minimum Five (5) years’ work experience in the similar position
• Having worked in the power station or operations and maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Sober minded and self-driven
• Computer literate
• Aged between 30-45 years old

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
