Title: Procurement Officer
Reports to: Procurement Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a procurement Officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers
• Review freight rates and other transportation costs keep working costs low
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
• Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased
• Prepare monthly procurement reports,
• Perform any other duties as instructed by superiors

Abilities Required:
• Willing to learn and take direction.
• Must be able to communicate and negotiating skills
• Must be able to work under pressure in some situations.
• Knowledge of logistics systems
• Understanding of transportation limitations and regulations

Experience required
• 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or any related field
• Knowledge in Material Procurement
• Must have a valid driving license
• Degree in Business administration or similar field

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
