JOB DETAILS:
The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:
• Works in collaboration with the payments and business ecosystems Product Manager and other members of the products, operations and sales teams, developing a compelling value proposition for merchants and customers, as well as corporate organisations;
• Understands and monitors performance in the various payment verticals such as consumer to merchant payments (including segmentation of merchants), Merchant to merchant payments, virtual card payments etc;
• Ensures that the MoMo Payments and business value proposition operates in line with the MTN Group Minimum Viable Product (MVP);
• Monitors and reports product performance at a granular level and puts in place interventions and promotions to stimulate product update and general revenue performance;
• Supports partners during technical onboarding processes;
• Supports Technical Teams in understanding business requirements and assists in the formulation of product roadmap for assigned services;
• Monitors customer journeys and identifies opportunities for process streamlining and improvement;
• Implements product strategies in line with the MTN Group and local expectations to ensure consistency with group guidelines;
• Manages relationships with Product partners, deployment pipeline and project prioritisation;
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines for product and service launches;
• Supports in billing and revenue assurance for all products within portfolio;
• Ensures consistent growth in active subscribers and revenue.

Candidate Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate with 5 credit or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
• Degree in Marketing, Economics or other Business-Related field;
• Experience in performance analysis and pricing;
• Experience with product development and go to market;
• Experience with customer value management an added advantage.
