Position: Product Designer, UI/UX

Role
As a Product Designer at Irembo, you will be in charge of creating the very best user experiences for our millions of diverse users. You will be involved in the whole development lifecycle, from understanding user needs and requirements, developing interactive product prototypes and journeys, to pre-launch user testing and validation.

What you will do:

• Evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product, engineering and customer success teams. Design both the user interfaces and the navigation across the product. Develop beautiful and seamless experiences.
  
• Turn high-level ideas into high fidelity user interfaces and features. Design not only functional designs but aim to delight and pleasantly surprise our users. Prioritize intuitive and ease of experience across the board. Challenge the status quo by asking the right questions.
  
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes and plan and conduct user tests to validate your ideas.
  
• Optimize already existing user experiences. Use Irembo’s vast accumulated data to deeply understand user behavior and drive meaningful product improvements.
  
• Collaborate across the organization to establish shared product vision leading to product execution. You are able to use both qualitative and quantitative metrics to validate design decisions.
  
• Co-manage with various teams Irembo’s company design and messaging strategy.
  

You will be a good fit it:

• You have a strong portfolio showcasing your past work and your design process and approach.
  
• You are innovative and relentlessly user-focused.
  
• You have experience with design software and wireframe tools including Wireframe.cc, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
  
• You have a deep understanding and up-to-date experience with modern web application technologies and the best standards for various user interactions.
  
• You have a team spirit and excellent communication and storytelling skills to clearly articulate your work and decisions.
  
• You have high EQ. You can sympathize and empathize with various users. You can take feedback gracefully.
  
• You have knowledge of various usability research methods in human-computer interaction design.
  
• Your search for better solutions and then make them even better. You use data to guide your intuition. You are detail oriented.
  
• You have HTML5 and CSS knowledge.
  
• You have 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  
• You have a B.S in Design, Computer Science or another relevant field.
