JOB DETAILS:
We are a Lusaka based Bakery looking for Bakery Production Managers residing in Lusaka preferably prospective candidates who live within proximity to our Branches at Leopards Hill Road and Kasangula Road
Production Manager Job Duties:
• Planning
• Coordinating all Production activities
• Controlling all resources
• Overseeing the production processes
• Ordering resources required for production
• Ensuring adequate stock levels
• Assessing project and resource requirements
• Ensuring health and Safety regulations are met
• Accomplishing manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees as well as developing reporting procedures and systems
• Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintaining staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees
• monitoring personnel and resources and studying methods of implementing cost reductions
• Facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points by initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Completing production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel
• accomplishing work results and establishing priorities
• Monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results of the process flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensuring operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Answering questions and responding to requests.
• Creating and revising systems and procedures by analysing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements
• Implementing change.
• Maintaining safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources
• Maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing, Production and processes
• Ability to Use, Repair and maintain machines
• Ability to minimize Production cost and reduce wastage
