JOB DETAILS:

Key responsibilities and duties:
• Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Determining manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cov production demand Setting goals٫ tasks and priorities for workers and other staff
• Developing and achieving departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction processes, quality, and productivity.
• Assigning workers and other staff to particular production operations
• Creating status and performance reports and present them to managers
• Scheduling shifts according to production needs.
• Using marketing forecasting and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changes.
• Producing Budgeting and Forecasting
• Reporting material Variance.
• Monitoring jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Addressing issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Obtaining output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.
• Keeping paperwork organized
• Collaborating with quality control, warehouse, and other staff

Qualifications:
• Full grade 12 certificate
• Diploma in Production Management, Production Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
• Proven experience as a production planner, preferably in an FMCG
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Good at math and statistics
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge and technical understanding of Cold Chain Supply Business
• Computer literate, especially with Excel skills
