JOB DETAILS:
The Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is a professional regatory body established by The EZ Act No. 17 of 2010. The principal activities of the institutionclude the regulation and promotion of the engineering prolew in Amon through registration of engineering professionals and engineering organ organizing member activities for continuous professional development and contributing to the material development of society by moving the level of engineering education, training and practice in the country,
JOB PURPOSE
The Public Relations and Marketing manager shall oversee the general communications and act as the interface of the Institution. He/she hall over communications and media relations. The ager shall be resible for the implementation of the Information, Education and Communications surategy as well as engage members, and maintain positive relationships with medin contacts
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with members, community employees and public. • Market the EZ brand.
• Generate Press statements and respond to requests for information from theme and stakeholders
• Plan or direct development of programmes to maintain Courable blic and starteder views of the
• s agenda and accomplishments
• Analyse the Institution's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote product deas, and services
• Prepare and edit Institutional materials, including employee newsletters and other publications for internal and external dience Update, market and maintain the stitution's c al content
• Develop public relations strategies for current and existing services, launches, and promotions
• Manage content team to produce relevant, compelling social media updates with to services or promotions
• Analyse media coverage, develop responses when needed Organise promotional events, press conferenc , tours, Visits and bitors
• Create and manage PR budget deadlines, objective and he
• Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual media activity reports This is a term contract appointment

QUALIFICATIONS AND DEPERIENCE .
• Mul Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism Marketing from a recognized higher institution of learning
• Five 5 years working experience. Wuongdustrial exposure, the year awr management lewa republe organisation institution
• MBA will be an added advantage . Must be registered and fully paid up with Z O ZIPCA
