JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE:
To carry out media and public relations functions on the operations of the Agency in order to inform the public and enhance the image of the Agency.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Undertakes timely and accurately, press releases in order to update the public on the operations of the Agency.
• Carries out timely and accurately, responses to press and public queries in order to facilitate decision making.
• Coordinates timely, production of brochures, magazines, newsletters and video in order to facilitate dissemination of information.
• Compiles timely, media and other reports on the operations of the Agency in order to inform and educate the public.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Primary/Secondary Education:
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Vocational/Professional Qualifications:
• Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum Relevant Pre-Job Experience:
• Five (5) years relevant work experience.
• Communication Skills
• Able to write comprehensive and analytical reports. Able to communicate effectively in English.

DUTY STATION
• The Public Relations Officer under Business Regulatory Review Agency will be stationed in Lusaka.

DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT
• The position is on contract of (3) years with a possibility for renewal.

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
