JOB DETAILS:
Your mission will be to promote a positive image and reputation of Epiroc, within the East and Central Africa (ECA) Region customer base as well as internally with employees and third-party stakeholders in conformity with the established Epiroc branding guidelines.
This will be accomplished through a pragmatic and hands-on adaptation of Marketing and Communications activities that supports established business plans and priorities, and by personally demonstrating clear and visible leadership within this field of expertise, internally throughout the East and Central Africa (ECA) Region and with customers.

Responsibilities
• Localization and Implementation of the Regional Marketing and Communications strategy in alignment with the Epiroc Divisions Strategies to support growth in market share in all the entities in the East and Central Africa (ECA) Region.
• Grow and develop the capabilities of the direct reporting marketing communications team, through positive leadership, supervision of roles, thoughtful and balanced delegation of challenging assignments
• Increase brand awareness for the Epiroc brand through content marketing and cross-channel advertising.
• Oversee the implementation of a fully integrated marketing communication mix across traditional and new media channels to promote Epiroc Products and Services through paid and unpaid communication channels.
• Manage digital communication and marketing campaigns and engage with audiences on social media channels.
• Collaborate with East and Central Africa (ECA) Regional Business Lines Managers over the implementation of CRM and ensure its effective use in the Region.
• Establish a systematic approach to support dealers/ partner branding and brand visibility management.
• Drive spending optimization based on Return on Investment (ROI) outcomes and continuously measure and report KPIs and ROI of all marketing activities.
• Coordinate the annual Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys to gauge customer satisfaction and collaborate with the Regional Business Line Manager and Marketing Team
• Oversee company internal communications and promote the Epiroc Brand internally using standardized East and Central Africa (ECA) Regional templates for Newsflash, Newsletter, intranet, notice boards, social media, etc.
• Work in collaboration with RCOE, Regional HR & SHEQ Teams to coordinate employer branding initiatives and promote the use of recommended digital communications platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Reinforce all employees’ adherence to Epiroc branding guidelines using updated communication templates such as e-mail signatures, presentation templates, etc.
• Oversee the procurement and distribution of promotional items and Epiroc Branded Workwear for employees in line with the approved budgets and branding guidelines.
• Supervise the implementation and ensure timely reporting of all Corporate Social Responsibility Projects in the East and Central Africa (ECA) Region including Water for All Projects, Donations, Sponsorships, and other outreach initiatives.

Requirements
• University Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or any related field
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a management role in Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations
• Knowledge of digital communications tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, AEM, Adobe Creatives Package, and other digital communications tools
• Excellent writing, editing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Epiroc product and services offering and the market in the (ECA) Region

Language skills
• The position requires a minimum advanced level of English.

This position will be based in either Congo DRC, Tanzania, Kenya, or Zambia, at any of the CCs in the ECA Region
