Program Name: Localize Global Health Security (LGHS) Activity

Dear Prospective Applicants,

Panagora, under the USAID-funded Localize Global Health Security (LGHS) project, is seeking applications for grants from qualified local organizations to fund activities under the LGHS project. LGHS will initiate a Request for Application (RFA) solicitation process. RFA responses (full application) will be due on July 30, 2024, at 5 pm CAT.

Applicants will submit a full application that addresses a key technical content area of the program. Each application received will be reviewed for its technical merit and responsiveness to the objectives of the RFA. Eligible organizations interested in submitting an application are encouraged to read this funding opportunity thoroughly to understand the type of program sought, application submission requirements, and evaluation process. Successful applicants will be fully responsible for ensuring the achievement of the activity’s objectives. Please read each section of the RFA carefully.

LGHS intends to make up to six awards to applicants who best meet the objectives of this funding opportunity based on the merit review criteria described in the RFA. While six award(s) are anticipated as a result of the RFA, LGHS reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted.

Subject to the availability of funds, awards will be made to the responsible Applicant(s) whose applications best demonstrate the most technically responsive and cost-effective approach and methodology to meet the requirements of the RFA, that are fully compliant, and that present the best value to LGHS. To be eligible for an award, the applicant must meet the eligibility requirements included in Section C and provide all the information and signed attachments required in the RFA that constitutes a full application.

Issuance of this RFA does not constitute an award commitment on the part of LGHS nor does it commit LGHS to pay for any costs incurred in preparation or submission of comments/ suggestions for an application. Applications are submitted at the risk of the Applicant.
