BCP stands as a beacon of mission-driven enterprise, dedicated to the profound cause of “Making Conservation of Wildlife Habitat Valuable to People.” Through transformative projects like the Luangwa Community Forests Project (LCFP) and the Lower Zambezi REDD+ Project (LZRP), we safeguard close to a million hectares of threatened wildlife habitat while providing essential livelihood support to over 224,000 community members in Zambia. As a registered BCorp, ranked 5th globally out of 3,300 companies, we prioritize purpose over profit, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals and achieving triple Gold standards for community impact. In our 9-year journey, we’ve directly distributed K50 million to 12 Chiefdoms, bolstering communities, especially during the challenges of COVID-19. Integral to our success are our valued vendors, whose support is vital in fulfilling our mission. At BCP, we’re driven by the belief that balance between profit and purpose is achievable, and our unwavering commitment to collaboration, innovation, and shared values propels us toward a world where conservation is embraced by all.
