Request for Quoatations for the Supply of Laptops at Akros

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Akros is a cutting edge non-governmental organization that establishes data-driven and technologically appropriate systems to improve the health, social and well-being of disadvantaged communities. We pride ourselves in our ground-level knowledge of the service delivery systems where we work, and our ability to provide novel, lasting solutions implemented in developing regions.

Akros Research is supporting a 3-year program, funded by the Mastercard Foundation and in partnership with the Africa CDC, to increase Covid19 vaccine uptake in Africa. This initiative, called Saving Lives and Livelihoods, includes multiple components and partners working to procure, distribute, and promote vaccine uptake in a safe manner.  As a part of this consortium Akros Research will support Africa Union member states in the Eastern and Southern African regions to strengthen COVID-19 vaccine safety surveillance systems.

Akros plans to procure four (4) laptops to support the implementation of the project activities. Akros invites eligible vendors to submit a quotation for the supply of laptops based on the terms and conditions specified below:

Terms for the Supply of Goods/Materials (Quotations)

To be eligible for selection, the vendor must:

• Submit business registration certificate and tax clearance certificate
• The quotations must be on official quotation format
• All quotations must clearly state terms of payment
• Quotations should clearly state the specifications of the goods/materials as provided herein
• All quotations must clearly state delivery period of goods/materials (preference will be given to vendors who can deliver within 2 days)
• All goods/materials shall comply with the Zambia Bureau of Standards and any other regulatory authority
• Guarantee supply of brand-new products – no refurbished products.
• All quotations shall be submitted electronically to the contact provided below

All enquiries relating to this RFQ, or specifications and detail of the goods/materials or services in this RFQ must be submitted to jnyirenda@akros.com.

The email submission of the response must specify the following in the subject line: Response to RFQ for supply of laptops.

The closing date for receiving responses to this RFQ is 12:00 hrs., on Friday 19th August 2022. Submissions for the RFQ should be done electronically to jnyirenda@akros.com.  No hard copy submissions will be accepted.

Please note that the dates listed above have no exceptions; late entries will not be allowed. All questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted electronically to jnyirenda@akros.com prior to the deadline of Friday, 19th August 2022.
