JOB DETAILS:
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (Zambia) Limited are looking for experienced Safety Officer. You are to be based in Mwense and Kawamba Luapula province. Elected candidate will be expected to manage projects, and provide technical advice as subject matter expert.

Safety Officer Duties and Responsibilities
• Be able to provide professional safety advice in site
• Maintain compliance with safety regulatory standards under the lead of Chinese Safety Officer
• Has the strong ability to communicate with the consultant as well as the Chinese Engineer or Chinese Foreman
• Be able to manage all the security guards and arrange them properly under the lead of Administration Manager
• Deal with safety matters such as injured worker, steal, strange visitors, etc
• Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines
• Other things which are not on the list

Safety Officer Requirements and Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree
• Five years working experience as a Safety Officer or relevant job
• Must be able to manage personnel’s
• Exemplary critical thinking, analytical and complex problem- solving skills
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies
• Absolutely comply with the project’s rules and regulations
