Media 365 is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who is creative, a great communicator, a natural self-starter and collaborative to join our team. As the Senior Graphic Designer you will take the lead in producing and overseeing digital and print creative projects to address ours and our clients visual needs. If you are creative with a constant flow of ideas and have in-depth technical knowledge and ability of graphic design, styles and layout techniques and have great time management skills, we’d love to hear from you!

About The Job

Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Oversee all design projects from conception to delivery, working collaboratively within a project team and with clients
• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and relevant materials
• Design original artwork including illustrations and infographics
• Refine images, fonts and layouts using appropriate graphic design software
• Apply typography techniques
• Generate ideas to portray concepts and market products/ services
• Mentor junior designers and review their work to ensure high quality, and company standards
• Maintain brand consistency for ours and our clients work
• Liaise with project teams to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensures equipment (including computers and printers) are operational, ensuring preventative maintenance, calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers etc, when required
• Stay up to date with industry developments and tools
• Any other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
• Bachelors’ degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Visual Design or Diploma/ Professional Quality plus equivalent in work experience (at least four years)
• 6+ years of demonstrated work experience as Senior Designer, Graphic
• Designer or similar role
• Strong portfolio of various design projects
• Exceptional skills in design and image editing software e.g InDesign, Photoshop, Ilustrator, Basamiq
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts in a visually appealing way
• Attention to visual details
• Ability to collaborate with a team and meet deadlines
• Ability to ideate (idea generation, development of concepts, mood boards)
• Understanding of the latest design trends and evidence of continuous
• learning (keeps up to date with the latest design trends)
• Good communication skills
• Good time management and organizational ability

Desirable
• Data visualisation skills
• UX/UI and web design

Work-Life Balance
Work-life balance at Media 365 is in line with consulting norms, meaning your work hours will be dictated by the phase and requirements of the project assigned to you.
We work longer hours in weeks with close deadlines (reasonable to expect a 60-hour work week). However, in weeks with no immediate major deadlines, 40-hour work weeks are the norm.
